Ah, yes! West Haven and its curb-cuts. Where they've been put in, they sit lower than the surrounding curbs, and so in a light rain they quickly become puddles, thereby obviating the very thing -- access - they're supposed to achieve. Add to that that the city's plow operators routinely use the curb corners as a convenient place to pile up snow, thereby rendering the intersections completely unusable by anyone, and you have an accurate picture of West Haven's commitment to the needs of pedestrians and those with special needs.
I'm hoping that this latest round of improvements will start to address this. I would hate to have our tax money go to paying fines instead of bettering the city.
